1. The Shangri-La Golf Resort & Spa in Hambantota

The Shangri-La Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka's closest approach to a mega-resort. Aditya has a primary restaurant open 24 hours a day and offers a la carte and dining on demand. Like a diner, you can order whatever you want whenever you want. Breakfast, lunch, and supper are served at regular intervals. 

4. Uga Escapes' Chena Huts

Chena Huts, the best hotel in Sri Lanka, is a premium cabin resort operated by Uga Escapes, a Sri Lankan hotel and resort company. It brings together two of Sri Lanka's outstanding features: magnificent wildlife and lovely, pristine beaches.

It's situated near to the beach and close to Yala National Park. Only 14 cabins are located on seven acres of property, providing solitude and tranquillity that can be not easy to come by at some of the more prominent resorts.

The cabins are spacious and may accommodate up to four persons in families. Each opulent house features a private plunge pool, a spacious sitting area, and a complete washroom with a drop-in tub. 

Apart from the beach, the main attraction is the national park's safari treks into the national park's tropical jungle. 5. Amanwella

The Amanwella is a boutique ultra-luxury all-villa resort in Tangalle, part of the ultra-luxury Aman brand of spas. Like other Aman hotels, the design is an essential aspect of the experience. Tropical Modernism is a fashionable, Asian-influenced mid-century modern aesthetic that Amanwella portrays.

There are 30 villa suites, each with a private courtyard, plunge pool, and sun deck. Although there is no dedicated spa, the resort does provide a variety of in-room massages and treatments.

Although Amanwella provides seclusion, you may go to the town for a more authentic experience.

6. Uga Escapes' Uga Bay

Another Uga Escapes property, Uga Bay, is a competitively priced luxury resort on Pasikuda Bay. Because the bay is small and you can wade quite a far out to the reef, it's a prevalent location.

The resort features fourplex apartments in a tropical Balinese design, with beach view villas upstairs and garden view villas downstairs. Wood floors, ceiling fans, and open floor designs characterize the flats. A Bay Suite or a two-level Beach Villa are other options; both are larger, more luxurious lodgings.

Uga Bay has a private beach that stretches for more than a mile and provides a variety of water activities and beach activities. It's also near some of the top diving and snorkelling spots in Sri Lanka. 

7. Sandhya 

This chic micro-boutique beach resort offers a lot for its reasonable mid-range pricing. It offers nine rooms, one of which is a suite located directly on the Kabalana Surf Beach. All of the accommodations feature a balcony or patio with direct ocean views. The entire property is decorated in a contemporary mid-century modern design.

There are 500-thread-count bedding, a spa-like bathroom with a standalone soaking tub, and a Harman Kardon Bluetooth sound system in these suites.

Freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and supper are served using local foods at the Sandhya's Dining Room. Western specialities are also available on the menu.

8. Hotel & Club Mermaid

The Mermaid Hotel & Club is located in a fishing community about 45 minutes from the international airport, on a gold-sand beach flanked by coconut palms on the Kalutara coastline. Guests may enjoy an all-inclusive experience at the 4-star hotel.

The resort has less than 100 rooms, which gives it a boutique vibe. Choose from a variety of regular or sea-view accommodations in various categories. Wood floors, huge windows with doors leading to furnished patios, and vivid colors characterize each room.

The restaurant offers an outside eating area where meals are served. Guests get immediate beach access, as well as sun loungers and umbrellas. A sports facility with a variety of activities is available as well. You may also go to the gym, play in the gaming room, or schedule a treatment at the spa.

Villa Saffron, a tropical architecture hotel on Hikkaduwa beach, is a stunning boutique luxury villa constructed by a Sri Lankan architect. The proprietors have a design store in Battaramulla since the design and style are so popular. Antiques, artwork, furnishings, and other furnishings designed or selected by the hotel's proprietors are available.

Because there are just five rooms in the boutique hotel, it seems like you're staying with a wealthy friend. Each one is spacious, with a patio and a spa-like bathroom. They all have their distinct styles, and some even offer ocean views. Even though there are just five rooms, there are facilities such as a 24-hour staffed front office and room services.
