Australia

Renowned for its stunning geographic contrasts, Australia boasts extraordinary attractions including the Great Barrier Reef, captivating desert wilderness, lush rainforests, idyllic beaches and vibrant cities. Always welcoming and with a unique national character to match its unique wildlife, it’s a haven for leisure visitors the world over and, being a leader on the global business stage, a prime destination for commercial travel, too. As such, Australia’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is an excellent visa solution for prospective visitors from overseas.

ETA
Australia’s ETA visa system enables entry to the country for eligible visitors from more than 50 different countries, for either leisure or business activity. The version of the ETA available through us at FastTrackVisa.com allows successful applicants to enter the country multiple times within a one-year timeframe.
An electronic-based short-term visa solution, the Australian ETA replaces the need for a physical visa label or stamp in a traveller’s passport; it’s electronically linked to their passport number. One of its great benefits, then, is its dynamic simplicity. Fittingly, it’s simple as can be to apply for an ETA with us. We’ll merely need you to send us a digital copy of your passport, as you fill out your application.
We’ll then process the application and aim – within just two hours – to email you back, confirming your application’s been successful and, along with that, share with you the conditions of your ETA, the date your ETA will begin and your ETA’s visa grant number (which connects the ETA with your passport and will be critical for when you pass through immigration control on arrival in Australia).
Presently, owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, applicants for travel to Australia also have to complete and, on arrival to the country, present health and medical declaration documentation. As part of this documentation, overseas visitors are required to fill out a Travel Request form; should they not, they won’t be able to prove that they possess a compelling or compassionate reason to currently travel to and enter Australia. You can fill out this form as part of your ETA application; we will then process the form as we process your ETA.

Required Documents To Apply

• A PDF copy of your valid passport

• a passport photo (in JPG format)

• health and medical documentation required due to the ongoing pandemic

• payment via a credit/ debit card or PayPal account.

Important Instructions • A multiple-entry visa solution with a validity of one year, the Australia ETA allows foreign visitors to remain in the country for 90 days following each entry • your ETA will be valid until its expiration date (exactly one year to the day after its stated start date); however, should your passport run out earlier than this, the ETA expiration date will be superseded and the former will be the last date you’ll be allowed to remain in Australia • you must possess a valid passport when you apply for your ETA and when you travel to Australia; should your passport have expired, you won’t be allowed entry to the country • if you’re of dual nationality, then, when applying for an ETA, you should select the nationality that corresponds with the passport you’ll be travelling with to Australia • possession of an ETA doesn’t enable an overseas visitor to work during their time spent in Australia, it enables them to conduct tourist or business activity; specifically, this means following leisure pursuits or making general business or employment enquiries, investigating, negotiating, entering into or reviewing a business contract or participating in a conference, trade fair or seminar (for which…

Australia FAQ

Technically not; no. That’s because you can’t hold two valid ETAs at any one time on (or, rather, electronically linked to) the same passport. So, before you apply for another ETA, you’ll have to wait for its validity – or the validity of your current passport – to expire, whichever happens first.

You must have been vaccinated for yellow fever if travelling from a country with a risk of transmission, please ensure you carry proof of your vaccine.

No, so long as your passport will be valid for the entirety of your stay in Australia, you won’t require a new one before you apply for an ETA.

No, not all. You can use the ETA for every entry and exit you make within the one-year timeframe that begins from the start-date stated on your ETA document.

You can only enter Australia on an ETA within its one-year timeframe; if you want to travel to the country before your current ETA’s valid, you’ll need a new ETA whose validity starts sooner. Once you receive a new ETA, your previous one will be cancelled.

An Australian ETA will be valid for a full year (from its stated start date) and enables multiple entries with a maximum 90-day stay per entry.

Your passport must be valid (meaning it hasn’t expired) to successfully obtain an ETA. Should your passport expire before your ETA does, you may need a new ETA because you’ll only be allowed to stay in Australia for as long as your passport’s valid.

Both a digital and hard-copy visa document, an ETA is electronically linked to a traveller’s passport, which ensures no stamp or label is made in the passport. However, you’ll have to show a printed-out copy of the ETA on your entry to the country.

The ETA is available to eligible travellers from many different countries. To check whether that includes you, use our visa product selector tool by inputting your desired destination and your country of origin.

Unfortunately once a visa is issued we will not be able to make any changes. Please contact us if there is a mistake in your application form. There may be a cost to reprocess any changes

Only in work-related activities; you can’t travel on an ETA to work in Australia; you can only do so for certain business (or all leisure) activities. You also mustn’t exceed 90 days per stay.

If you can prove you’re booked for an onward flight within eight hours of your arrival and remain in the transit lounge until then, you won’t need any sort of a visa to enter an Australian airport. However, if your passport states you’re one of a select few specific nationalities, you may need a visa or ETA – so, you should check the Australian Government’s website to be sure.
