All overseas visitors to Djibouti must possess a passport valid for six months beyond the date of their arrival.

Citizens of any country are eligible for a Djibouti Tourist eVisa, so long as their visit will be for family, tourism or business reasons. Those who hold a Singapore passport won’t require a visa to enter Djibouti.

The Tourist eVisa is meant for travellers who wish to visit for tourism purposes.

You’ll need a digital copy of your passport (last page), a digital passport-sized photo, proof of a booked return airline flight and booked accommodation/ letter of invitation from host for your stay (not: the dates booked/ stated for your accommodation must match those of your arrival in and departure from Djibouti) and a credit/ debit card (for payment).

This depends on the processing time you have chosen. Please refer to the FastTrackVisa website page for that country for more information.

The documents you upload with your application must be readable (i.e. not pixelated). In particular, your booking confirmation must include the name of your hotel, its address, the booking ID and a contact phone number. Finally, if you’re uploading an invitation letter from a host, it must include your full name and your host’s full name, their address, their ID number, their contact phone contact number and their signature.

Depending on which payment option you choose, it will take either 24 hours or 2-3 business days.

A Tourist eVisa is valid for a fixed 90-day timeframe, enabling you to enter Djibouti once and spend a maximum 14 days in the country.
