Enabling overseas nationals from throughout the world to enter Madagascar, this eVisa is for all eligible visitors wanting to travel to Madagascar for tourism purposes or to visit family. It means they’re able to visit for a total 60 days via one single-entry.

Important Instructions • All overseas visitors must possess a passport that’s valid for six months beyond the date of their arrival (and at least two free pages for stamping) • should your application for a Madagascar Landing Authorisation be successful, your Landing Authorisation will be emailed to you so you can print out/ download the document, as you see fit; however, you will be required to pay a fee for this eVisa when you present it to an immigration official on your entry • overseas nationals from every country are eligible for the Madagascar Tourist eVisa on Arrival (Landing Authorisation), apart from those from Palestine • a Tourist eVisa for Madagascar doesn’t provide an automatic right of entry; an immigration official may refuse entry should they consider a person is unable to fulfil immigration requirements or conclude the person’s presence in the country is contrary to national interests or security • if you’re travelling from a yellow fever-affected country, you’ll be required to present proof of vaccination against the disease.

If you reside in or you’re travelling from a yellow fever-affected country, you’ll be required to present proof of vaccination against the disease.

Palestinian passport holders are not allowed to apply for the Madagascar Tourist eVisa.

Your eVisa’s validity period begins from the date noted on your application. You can enter the country from any date within this validity period.

The eVisa allows the holder just one Single Entry.

You must present your passport along with your Landing Authorisation, which can be printed or shown from a smartphone. You will have to pay a fee in person upon arrival.

All travellers entering Madagascar for tourism purposes must have a eVisa before entering the country. Once your application is succesful, you need to provide the Landing Authorization to the immigration officers upon arrival. On arriveal you may have to pay a fee in person. The fee depends on the length of the validity of your visa.
