As such, Myanmar’s visa system is relatively lenient for foreign – great news for leisure travellers of all kinds.

If successfully obtained, it ensures they can visit for a total 28 days out of a designated 90-day period via one single-entry.

Important Instructions • All overseas visitors must possess a passport valid for six months beyond the date of their arrival (and with a free page for stamping purposes) • all Tourist eVisa recipients can only use a Myanmar Tourist eVisa to enter and depart the country via Yangon, Mandalay International Airport or Naypyidaw International Airports or via Tachileik, Myawaddy, Kawthaung, Tamu or Rih Khaw Dar land borders • natural citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam aren’t required to obtain a Myanmar visa of any kind, should they stay in the country for no more than 14 days and enter and departing from Yangon, Mandalay, or Naypyidaw International Airports from ANY of the land border checkpoints, then please apply for the appropriate eVisa • should you plan to travel with minors, then all children seven-years-old or older (or should they have their own passport) must have their own eVisa to travel to Myanmar; the intention to travel with any child under seven-years-older must be included in a parent/ guardian’s Tourist eVisa application • if you’re travelling from a yellow fever-affected country, you’ll be required to present proof of vaccination against the disease.

If travelling from a country where there is a risk of yellow fever transmission, then a yellow fever vaccine is required.

The situation in each country during the Covid 19 pandemic is changing rapidly. Please check with the foreign office of the country in order to ascertain the most up to date entry requirement for vaccination and Covid tests.

The following is required by us to submit your information: Passport with at least 6 months validity from the planned date of entry. Passport-style color photo taken within 3 months of your application. A debit/credit card or Paypal account for payment.

The Tourist eVisa is meant for travellers who wish to visit for tourism purposes.
