Qatar

A leader in the Middle East and an emerging ‘middle power’ on the world stage, Qatar may be small in terms of land area, but its popularity as an attractive tourist destination and as somewhere with an abundance of business opportunities is undisputed. To that end, the Government of Qatar has recently introduced a terrific visa solution for eligible overseas citizens seeking non-long-term stays, whether they be for commerce or leisure.

ETA
Launched in 2017, Qatar’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) has become a very popular visa alternative for Qatar visitors. That’s because, should they be successful and obtain a single-entry ETA, eligible visitors can use it to enter and remain in the country for up to 30 days after their arrival.
Applying for an eTAhere at FastTrackVisa.com couldn’t be easier. All we require, if you want to travel to Qatar, is to provide us with your passport and a passport-sized photo in electronic format, along with electronic copies of other travel-related documents.
If your application’s accepted by the Qatar Department of Immigration, we’ll then supply you with your eTAvia an email – within 48 hours of you sending you application to us. To visit Qatar, you’ll then need to print out your eTAand retain this hard copy; so, you can present it, when requested, to an immigration official on your arrival (we also advise keeping an electronic copy of your eTAon a handy device).

Required Documents To Apply

• A PDF copy of your valid passport (bio page)

• a passport photo (in JPG format)

• proof of confirmed airline reservations to and from Qatar

• a copy of an accommodation reservation for your stay; alternatively, if you’ll be staying with a Qatari resident, a letter of invitation from them, as well as a copy of their Qatari resident visa (if applicable), a copy of their Qatar ID and a copy of their passport (bio page)

• proof of your own residence (e.g. a copy of your resident card, resident visa, phone bill, tenancy contract, utility bill or the page of your passport that features your printed address)

• proof of a valid visitor visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, the USA or any of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries or any of the Schengen area countries (this visa must be valid 30 days or more after your date of arrival in Qatar)

• payment via a credit/ debit card or PayPal account.

Important Instructions • If obtained, an eTAallows overseas visitors to enter and stay in Qatar for up to 30 days after arrival or until their passport expires, whichever happens first • your passport must be valid for six months or more after the date of your arrival in Qatar • if the name on your passport is a single name only, your eTAapplication won’t be successful; your passport must feature a minimum of two names (e.g. first name and surname, or equivalent) • the aforementioned proof of intended accommodation for your stay must feature dates that match the travel dates stated in your eTAapplication • you must purchase airline tickets for your trip to and from Qatar before you apply for your ETA; as noted, details of these travel intentions must be stated as part of your eTAapplication.
