Sri Lanka

Famed for its glorious beaches, exotic wildlife, impressive water sports opportunities and must-visit heritage sites, including beautiful Buddhist temples, the island nation of Sri Lanka is a destination with an ever-growing popularity among leisure seekers. Its appeal for business travellers is on an upward trajectory, too. To that end, the Sri Lanka Government’s eVisa opportunities ensure the vast majority of short-term visitors can enter the country with ease.

eTA(Tourist eVisa)
Designed as a short-term tourist visa solution for those wishing to enter Sri Lanka, the Tourist eVisa enables foreign travellers to visit the country for leisure for two entries and a stay of up to 30 days in total.
To be precise, this Sri Lanka Tourist eVisa is actually an ETA; or Electronic Travel Authorisation, to use its full name. This means, technically speaking, it’s a visa solution that’s digitally linked to your passport, ensuring that, should you be successful and obtain the ETA, you won’t have your passport stamped by an immigration official on your arrival in Sri Lanka.
And rest assured that, here at FastTrackVisa.com, we’ll do our utmost to make the application process for this eTAfor Sri Lanka as easy as can be. All we need from you is a digital copy of your passport, a digital passport photo of yourself and, of course, for you to fill out your application for the ETA. We’ll then process the application and, within 2-3 business days, send you via email your eTAfor Sri Lanka. We’d urge you then to print it out; so, when you travel to Sri Lanka, you can present it to an immigration official on your arrival (we suggest, too, downloading a back-up copy to a handheld device).

Required Documents To Apply

• A PDF copy of your valid passport

• a passport photo (in JPG format)

• payment via a credit/ debit card or PayPal account.

Important Instructions • It’s necessary for all eTAapplicants to have a confirmed hotel booking before their application’s processed (a ‘Safe and Secure Level 1’ hotel, which can supply you with a reference number), as well as – at the present time – evidence of a negative PCR test result for Covid-19 before they travel • if you’re planning to take your children along with you on your trip to Sri Lanka, none of them will be required to have an eTAof their own, so long as they’re under 12 years of age • the passport of an eTAapplicant must be valid for at least six months after their arrival date • if you’re a citizen of a yellow fever-affected country, you’ll be required to present a yellow fever vaccination card on your arrival in Sri Lanka • you cannot obtain a new eTAwhile you are in Sri Lanka, regardless of whether your current eTAis valid or expired; however, if you wish to stay in Sri Lanka for more than 30 days, you can apply for an extension to your eTA– first, for an extension of 90 days after your arrival date and, second, by a further 90 days beyond this.
